Technical Conference Mr. MacKenzie and Mr. Stoerig attended a Technical Conference in Oakville, Ontario on January 26th and 27th. The workshop focused on all technical aspects of ITF Patterns and warm up drills. The conference was attended by 100 participants ranging in rank from Red Belt to 7th Dan. There were four Master in attendance to offer there technical expertise including Master Pierre Laquerre (7th Dan - CTFI Technical Director), Master Ruben Suarez (7th Dan), Master Fabian Nunez (7th Dan) and Master Richard Lajeunese (7th Dan).
As well, on Friday, January 25th, Mr. Stoerig was tested by Master Pierre Laquerre and promoted to 4th Dan. The testing was comprised of patterns, step sparring, model sparring, self defense, free sparring and breaking. Congratulations Mr. Stoerig!
