2008 Maritime
Open Tournament
The 2008
Maritime Open Tournmament was held on May 3rd, 2008 in Amherst, Nova
Scotia and hosted by Mr. Jim Ripley (3rd Dan). The were 100 competitors from
the Maritime provinces featuring a variety of martial arts including
Karate, Kung Fu and Taekwon-Do. The championship began at
10:00am and all competitors, coaches and
spectators enjoyed the day sharing their different styles.
Team
MacKenzie Taekwon-Do sent 9 competitors and won a total of 22 medals
including 10 Gold,
7 Silver and 5 Bronze. Below is a recap of medals won by each
